NEW COVENANT CHURCH: CALLED TO BE A BRIDGE CONNECTING GOD TO PEOPLE, PEOPLE TO PEOPLE, AND PEOPLE TO GOD Jesus is Alive! He is raised from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the father, where He is interceding for us. He knows all about each one of us. He gives us a future and a hope. The same power of the resurrection that caused Jesus to rise from the dead lives in us now. As believers we are called to be powerful witnesses. We have received His power from on high. GO MAKE DISCIPLES! New Covenant continues to do this work here and in the community.
The children’s ministry continues to grow through the Academic Pantry and its leader. Wednesday evenings adults help the children with home work followed by supper, prayer and bible club. Younger children have a place to meet also. The parents of many come for supper and help serve and clean up afterward. The women who prepare the meals are now serving between 50 and 60 people each Wednesday. The week of CRCT testing a Toilet Paper Olympics were held. It was such fun seeing them jump over stacks of toilet paper and other interesting games. A bag breakfast was given to each child to eat before school the next day.
